Rachael has been teaching for almost 25 years in special education settings and mainstream primary schools in both NSW and overseas. After working with numerous children who found it difficult to recognise and manage their emotions, she became more interested in understanding the incredible importance adults play in explicitly teaching children about emotions.
Children learn so much from the adults in their lives about recognising and managing emotions, and it’s important for us to have the tools and strategies to deal with this.
While Rachael has worn many hats throughout her career, her greatest passion lies in working with families to create happy, harmonious and connected households.
Rachael has been a Tuning in to Kids® and Teens facilitator since 2016 and has run the courses in both primary and high school settings. She loves the positive changes parents report in themselves and their children after completing the course.
